Want to get more out of your dancing?
All of us understand the importance of learning technique and not just moves, but we rarely get the chance to discuss basic musicality, which, when you think about it is a crime!
So with the Bedford class re-starting in September we're taking the opportunity to offer a class in basic musicality, so if you feel you'd like a better understanding of putting dance to the music with some simple tips and tricks, join us at The Harpur Suite on Sunday 5 th September 5.45 – 9pm.

Harpenden Suspended

We've had a few little issues with the venue in Harpenden which we're trying to address. Unfortunately, until those issues have been addressed we're suspending our Monday nights until further notice. Sorry for any inconvenience this causes - Don't forget the nearest Funky Smoooth Jive venue is Bedford on Sunday evenings, which returns from it's August break on 5th September.

How is this possible????It's quite simple……
Introduce a different friend to our club every week and whilst they pay to get in, you get in FREE!
“But what about my poor friend?” we hear you ask! Well, if they fill in their membership form on their first night, they will then be club members and entitled to introduce one of their friends the following week and get in FREE themselves! And so on, and so on!
There are a few terms and conditions, but not many…. Like one free entry per person per night, no ‘carry overs'. The new member has to pay the full entry price for a non-member (£9). The new member has to arrive with the club member or administration becomes difficult. Not available on special event nights eg freestyle dances. (full terms available on request)

So to sum up… introduce one new friend to the club per week between now and the 10 th September and get FREE DANCING!

Social partner dance is a life skill, an aerobic exercise and great fun. We all know someone who would benefit by learning to dance… even if they don't know it yet! During the ‘Summer of Love' we can all benefit from helping our friends discover Funky Smoooth Jive.

The small print...
To qualify for this offer you must:
Be a member of the UK-Smoooth Club.
Present your UK-Smoooth membership or reward card. (You will still receive one reward card stamp)
Introduce a new member to the club who pays the full entry price of £8
Offer valid until 10 th September 2010
Concessions do not apply on a first night - £8 for all.
This offer applies to UK-Smoooth class nights only. It does not apply to special events or weekend dance nights.
The member must have their guest with them at the front desk to qualify for the offer.
No free entries can be carried over to another night
In the unlikely event of any dispute arising, UK-Smoooth has the final word in ending said dispute.
UK-Smoooth Club reserves the right to withdraw this special offer at any time
UK-Smoooth Club reserves the right to refuse admission.
